How an Embryo Transfer Is Performed During an IVF Cycle

First, the best embryo is chosen. A syringe is then attached to a catheter, and the embryo is aspirated inside the catheter. Once the catheter is loaded by the embryologist, it is passed to the fertility doctor, who will then insert the catheter inside the uterus. The syringe is then pressed, and the embryos are disposed of inside the uterus. On the ultrasound, you can then see, in the glow, where the embryos have been disposed of inside the uterus.
